Velway’s Managing Director Robin Harris and Operations Director Matthew Wilson spent 2 sessions engaging around 50 delegates from across the National Care Group management team. During these sessions they showcased how Velway are proactively managing the control of legionella across the client’s national portfolio of properties.
Robin explained the work management processes behind the successful delivery of risk assessments, the completion of remedial works and the implementation of planned regimes throughout all properties currently managed by Velway.
Richard Deakin and Ryan Dyke from Nant Limited provided an introduction to legionella awareness. This was delivered as part of Velway’s commitment to providing continued professional development to their clients.
Matthew finished off the sessions by updating all delegates on the remote water temperature monitoring units that Velway have installed, alongside Nant Limited, in a high percentage of the NCG properties. Matthew explained the benefits of this innovative solution in regards to not only cost savings and better management of disruption to sites, but also the carbon footprint reduction they provide.
The sessions were well received with thanks and praise coming from all levels of management with the National Care Group.
Mike Cleasby – Quality Director stated;
“The presentation and training were delivered extremely well and received a good level of feedback from the delegates in attendance”
