Velway is delighted to announce that they have been awarded a contract to deliver full facilities management services to William Blake House.
Velway looks forward to working alongside the operations team helping to maintain the properties of this unique care provider.
William Blake House is a registered charity that has been providing residential care to young adults with learning and physical disabilities, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, since 2001.
Velway’s Managing Director, Robin Harris, says “This is an exciting opportunity for Velway to further develop an understanding of the care sector in this unique care environment. From our first meeting with the senior management team it was clear to see their commitment to delivering excellent levels of care.”
The Charity has four care homes, all situated in idyllic rural settings within Northamptonshire, where people are supported to be valued, integrated members of their community. The homes are located in the villages of Blakesley, Lois Weedon and Upper Boddington, and the people they support are encouraged and supported to go out into the local community, for walks, as well as to integrate fully into village life. Activities and good organic nutrition are promoted within all homes, which include horse riding, trampolining, swimming, llama trekking. William Blake House provides an exceptional level of care, based on the Rudolf Steiner principles, offering a personalised package of support by focusing on each individual and their needs.
